Calling all foodies, this place is a little gem! Had the Honey Pork sandwich and a Taro Coconut Boba drink. The sandwich was served on a great baguette, savory with a hint of honey sweetness and fresh cilantro added that herbiness you need. The Boba were perfectly chewy, not tough and the smoothie was divine. I might be going back tomorrow. Seriously.

The Honey Glazed Pork vermicelli bowl is a must order for sure. I order this in my home town Seattle and I have to say it is made to perfection here. I can only describe it as an orchestra of flavors bursting in your mouth. Once you try it you will order this particular menu item over and over. The lemon grass chicken vermicelli is also very good but my ultimate favorite is the honey glazed pork vermicelli. When it's cold out the Pho is delicious.

This place is a favorite of mine. Everything I've ever ordered has been delicious. The owner has always been extremely nice. People complaining about high prices?!? $7 dollars for a big bowl of Pho that I struggle to finish. How's that pricey? Great place, great food.

We were in the neighborhood and decided to try this place out. First of all, don't press the get directions from yelp because it totally transfered the incorrect address and we ended up in a residential neighborhood. The pho tasted so fresh and seasoned perfectly. The brisket had just the right amount of fat and meat. They give you a lot of noodles and at first it did not seem like a lot of meat but it was hidden underneath all the noodles. They had chilli oil and it had a hint of lemongrass so it wasn't overwhelming and definitely was actually spicy, perfect for my pho! The wait was longer than we anticipated and it didn't help that we were hungry. The avocado shake was a blend of real avocados and powder and it tasted refreshing. Their Vietnamese iced coffee was a little different compared to what we usually get, it was still tasty but also tasted more earthy. The customer service was excellent!

Viet Deli is great! I love the lemongrass chicken. The Pho is good too. They have always been quick, and the food is fairly cheap too.

This place is a poor excuse for authentic Vietnamese food. See pictures for details. The only thing good I can say was the food came out quickly. The portions were tiny, the flavor bland, and the banh mi was all bread very little meat, HUGE disappointment! The spring rolls were all rice noodles with a tiny piece of meat and didn't taste fresh. The egg rolls were undercooked and cold in the middle. The Pho was as bland as Pho Cali up in West Valley. 3 small pieces of meat in the bowl. Do not think I will ever be back.

I am soooooo happy that I discovered this place in Saratoga. I loooove Vietnamese food, and the Viet Deli was no disappointment. I first got the pho when I wasn't feeling too good. I got it for take out - which was awesome. Everything that I needed was neatly packaged separately. You do need a really big bowl if you do take out - juuuust so you know. But, I got home and noticed that the broth was in its own container. The noodles, meat, cilantro, veggies, were all in a separate box that was sectioned off. It was so easy to put everything together. The siracha also helped clear my sinuses. I've also tried the Banh-mi sweet pork sandwich. It was good, but the bread was too big. I wished that it was just a little thinner in order to better showcase the sweet pork. Just one woman's humble opinion though. Basically, loved this place. It makes me really happy. Check it out if you're in the boonies.

The food at Viet Deli is outstanding. I have been here with my husband many, many times and we are always left satisfied and smiling. The food is fresh, delicious and the staff is wonderful and professional. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to the fact that the wait for food is a bit extreme. It's a small restaurant and maybe holds 30 guests, so we are never behind tens and tens of other orders, yet we always wait 30-45 minutes for our food. However, we keep going back. The food is just too tasty!

Great little local place. Hidden behind the Jiffy Lube and next to a pizza joint, but worth seeking out. The Pho is excellent, perfect for a cold day. I've also been there several times and tried the Vietnamese sandwiches. Spring rolls are good, although not great. Locally owned, the owners are great. Staff was nice and always helpful answering questions and giving recommendations. Try this place out - you'll like it!

This place is the bomb! Bubble tea is yummy. I love the Taro flavor! We've had the fresh and fried spring rolls- delish! We normally get the sandwiches..soo good!!! I havent tried the Pho soup yet- next time for sure! Service is good, and they are friendly. Not many of these places around the area, so finding this place was a treat!

The taste of the food is good. However, the portions are small. It's nothing like what you get outside of Saratoga Springs. Unfortunately, it's the only place close to Eagle Mountain. The service and wait is below average. If you don't want to drive far for great pho and willing to settle for this, it's not bad.

My wife and I decided to try this new restaurant just around the corner and we were pleasantly surprised with most of the items. First, the only other Asian food in the area is the overpriced, lower quality Won Won Wok/Cafe across the road which has sushi and Chinese food. My personal tastes in Asian food are ordered as 1. Thai, 2. Vietnamese, 3. Korean, 4. Japanese/Sushi, 5. Chinese. So it was very nice to have decent Vietnamese in the area. We tried: 1. Lemongrass chicken rice - curry & lemongrass aromas were delicious, chicken was bit dry. 2. Summer Rolls - traditional, well made, and refreshing - shrimp & beef, sprouts, vermicelli etc with peanut sauce. I like it when they have a strong herb like mint or basil running through them, but these were still very good. 3. Egg Rolls - pretty standard, not sure why they come pre-cut into bitesize pieces, but it doesn't make any difference to the food. 4. Banh Mi - delicious fresh baguette, tasty pork roll, fragrant cilantro etc. My only disappointment was the limited carrots/cucumber veggies and they didn't taste pickled. Banh Mi is supposed to have pickled carrot/cucumber/daikon on it. This good sandwich needed that boost. This place will certainly hit my Asian cuisine cravings going forward. And last of all, I regret not ordering the well reviewed Pho and the traditional Vietnamese Iced Coffee (but we were eating to go at night). Next time.

We walked in excited to try something new and we were greeted with basically all the tables covered in dirty dishes. There was no one at by the register. After a few mins we heard someone in the back say just a Min. So we waited... And waited. Finally we left. I'm giving it 1 star because maybe there's a chance it was just a bad night. We probably won't go back.

Excellent pho! I don't what they put in it (cinnamon maybe) but it's sweet and delicious. The ribeye is my favorite.

Best Spring Rolls in Utah! I've been searching a long time to find a place that makes them like they do here. So glad I found it!

  • J M.

The walkup ordering and menu selection was confusing, the prices were high, the delivery of food was as at a snail's pace, the flavors were bland and the food cold, the bean sprouts were plentiful.

First time here and first time for Vietnamese food - so I don't have anything to compare it too. Loved it! Had the vermicelli with BBQ pork and egg rolls - #16 on the menu. So light, but very filling. Egg rolls were fantastic with the soup broth. Will definitely go back.

I don't usually post reviews, but this is one place that definitely deserves some attention! I've referred several people here and ALL have loved it! First of all, if the name didn't give it away, this is Vietnamese food, NOT Chinese, so if you've never had Vietnamese food, be prepared to try something new! I would strongly suggest starting with the Pho (the rib eye is my favorite). This is a Viet staple and comes with fresh veggies and herbs. The serving sizes easily feeds two of us and our toddler. If you're not in the mood for soup, I've also had their sandwiches which are very good! It's very different from your typical sandwich with fresh cucumber and carrots and it was a refreshing twist on a typical ham sandwich. Lastly, besides the great food, the staff was extremely friendly and informative on Vietnamese food and gave us a really good feel for their culture! If there is one con, I would say it's in the food prep time. In our fast food culture, waiting 5-10 minutes for food can sometimes feel like an eternity, so if you don't like to wait, do yourself a favor and call in ahead of time. Definitely worth checking out if you're tired of the same old palette, this is probably the most unique place in Saratoga and we've lived here for over two years!

I am waiting for Viet Deli's food to get old but, that day hasn't come yet. I crave their food once a week at least. My husband orders the Pho special and I order the steak vermicelli. The noodles are always cooked perfectly, everything tastes fresh and the pho broth is the best we have ever tasted. The prices are reasonable and the portions are huge. The only suggestion I would give is ask them to not to pre cut your egg rolls. They taste much better whole. Enjoy!

  • Alida L.

I love this place. I probably go here 2-3 times a week and I always get the best service. The food is always so good and it's fast so if you're on a lunch break you have time to actually enjoy your food! James (the owner) is so kind and Wendy is awesome!

This is the first time we've had Vietnamese food. We love Chinese, Japanese, and even liked the Korean we had once. This was terrible. We ordered fried rice and egg rolls. The egg rolls were weird, cut up into small pieces and tasted really bad. We couldnt finish them even with trying to dip them in the sauce. The fried rice (which didn't list it's ingredients) ended up having what appeared to be ham, pork, chicken, tofu, and maybe crab? Not sure about the crab. This was awful... Terrible... and my wife wouldnt even try it because they didn't list the ingredients on the menu and she can't eat crab. You might want to list what meat is in your fried rice. I always assume that if no meat is listed then it is meatless fried rice. We will never be back. There may be good food there but we'll never find out. Between how long it took them to get us our food and the bad taste we simply won't be back. If you want to try it then I would go now because I don't see this place being open in a year or two.

We first tried viet deli because we love Pho. Not only is the Pho at viet deli addicting, the service is fabulous and James makes us feel like family. We come here every Friday night. Today we branched out and ordered the steak vermicelli and it didn't disappoint. The egg rolls are also perfect, we get them and our kids can't get enough.
